Prawn Cakes

Ingredients

300 g Prawns
-
30 g Pork belly
-
100 g Sweet corn kernels

1 pack Bread crumb
-
1 bottle Pineapple sauce (for dipping)
Instructions

Blend the ingredients
Place in a blender the prawns (headless / tail-off), the bacon and the sweet corn kernels.
Add pepper and blend until a smooth paste.

Form the prawn cakes
Shape into 12 flat cakes.
Keep refrigerated for at least 45 minutes.

Make the coating
Coat each prawn cake with some bread crumbs.

Deep fry the prawn cakes
Deep-fry for 5 minutes until golden brown.

Drain on paper towels
Drain the prawn cakes on paper towels to absorb any exterior oil that may still be clinging to them.

Plate your dish
Serve with deSIAM Sweet Chilli sauce.
